Scheduled Events
The following events are currently scheduled by either Protect Our Lake Shore Peninsula (PLSP) or are scheduled as part of the County's calendar related to the rezoning of the Pasadena Golf Center. All dates and agendas are subject to change without notice.

PLSP Letter & Community Marketing Campaign. Please join us in writing letters across the community to fight the Region 4 rezoning plan, particularly the Pasadena Golf Center property. Choose your Sample Letter template and get writing! Shirt sales and letter collection ends on May 13. Any letters ready after May 13 should be mailed or emailed directly to the County Council.

Bus Transportation to Public Hearing. Those signed up for bus transportation should be ready to depart Cookie's Kitchen at 4:30pm. Not signed up yet? Head over to Cookie's Kitchen or call them to sign up to ride the buses!

Region 4 Plan Public Hearing. Testimonies Ready! This public hearing date is critical in fighting the rezoning of the Pasadena Golf Center. An agenda and agenda packet will be available on the Council website by 6:00 p.m. on the evening of the meeting.
19 July 2024
Region 4 Comprehensive Rezoning Bill Expires. Once a bill is released, the County Council has 90 days to complete public hearings and vote on it. While an expiration date is available, the Council nearly always re-releases the proposed bill if it expires. If that happens, we continue the fight.
