Your Voice Matters

Thank you for supporting the Protect Our Lake Shore Peninsula community preservation project! We appreciate your support as we fight the rezoning of one of our iconic properties – the Pasadena Golf Center.

Your voice matters as a member of the local or surrounding communities in Anne Arundel County. We offer sample correspondence for you to write a letter or email to your local Council member, other Council members, and to AA County Executive Steuart Pittman.

Instructions for Template Use

Click the link to the letter of choice to download the Word document template.
Once downloaded, review the letter then customize the “Insert” field prompts, input the current date; your district (if not in the Lake Shore district); your testimony (if desired, otherwise delete the prompt); your #1 issue with the rezoning if the example is not related to your concern; and your name/address (address optional but helps Council members understand where their constituents live).
Make sure to delete the prompts or overwrite them with your input.
If you are printing your letter for mail, please sign it.

Instructions for Delivery

Email to Us -- Last day to email your letter is Sunday, May 12, 2024. We offer to hand-deliver your letter directly to the Council and its members. Please email it to us at protectingourlakeshorecomm@gmail.com by the deadline.

Any letters ready after May 12 should go directly to the County Council. Email or Mail Direct to the Council
